Brain Rot vs Educated Guess

Some people don’t understand how I manage to follow it all in IA news. I actually don’t follow it all, I have a very sharp filter about what is worth it and what is not, and that’s very different from scanning everything and do some triage. The

Deduction vs Induction

You know that moment when someone tells you, “LLMs reason,” and your brain instinctively responds: yeah… but how exactly do they reason? That’s where the distinction gets really interesting—and, above all, useful if you’re building products with AI. Deduction, induction, abduction: three “modes” of reasoning We often

PayMe In Depth

The $100 Page Why I Built This This project began for a personal reason. It had no business goal. No product intention. No experiment framework. No message to communicate—at least not at the beginning. The objective was simpler than that. I needed to build something. Not something useful. Not

Automate Localization for Hardcoded Strings With AI

Introduction While I'm somehow impressed by what Language Learning Models (LLMs) can accomplish, their limitations within Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) assistants are somewhat disappointing. For example, they can't scan an entire project and comment on all non-compiling code so it compiles, nor can they transform a

The Database Agnosticism Paradox

In the realm of software development, the notion of database agnosticism has long been considered a best practice. The idea of writing code that can interface with any database type without modification sounds appealing, promising flexibility and future-proofing. However, this approach has significant downsides that are often overlooked. Today I
